Produced at the historic Cascine Drago estate, this Nebbiolo d’Alba is born in a privileged terroir, located on the border of the Barbaresco area. Compared to its "older brothers," Barolo and Barbaresco, this Nebbiolo stands out for being more accessible and enjoyable even in its early years. The estate follows a rigorous protocol: a 10-12 day maceration at controlled temperatures (28-30°C) and malolactic fermentation completed before winter. Aging for about one year in large oak barrels allows the grape's youthful exuberance to be tamed, resulting in a wine that is a perfect balance between fragrant fruit and structural integrity.
