Langhe Nebbiolo Olmo 2024

SKU: P4128S

The Langhe Nebbiolo DOC 'Olmo' by Borgogno & Carbone—founded by Fabrizio Borgogno and Stefano Carbone, the visionaries behind La Morra's famed wine enclave, More e Macine—delivers a remarkably refined, fragrant, and gastronomy-aligned expression of Nebbiolo. Sourced entirely from estate vineyards within the prestigious commune of **Verduno**, famed for its high-altitude light-marl and sandy-limestone soils (Sant'Agata Fossili Marls), 'Olmo' embodies the characteristic floral lift, spice-tinged elegance, and silky tannin structure of this legendary corner of the Barolo zone.

Cellar protocols favor unadorned classical purity: temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation with moderate skin contact to preserve primary fruit aromatics and fine tannin balance. The wine matures for approximately 12 months in large oak casks (*botti grandi*) before bottle refinement. Borgogno & Carbone's Verduno-sourced 'Olmo' emerges as a captivating red—soaring with wild strawberry, red cherry, dried violet, and a signature touch of white pepper, anchored by a vibrant mineral core and seamless drinkability.
