Langhe Nebbiolo 2024

This "borderline" Nebbiolo, born from vines planted in 1997 just outside the official Barolo zone, is a wine that draws its distinctive identity from limestone-rich soils, which impart a sharp and vibrant sapidity. First produced with the 2020 vintage, the wine benefits from a western exposure that ensures optimal ripening, culminating in a strictly manual harvest in perforated crates to preserve the integrity of the fruit.

The winemaking process involves the use of partial whole clusters and a 14-day maceration in stainless steel, followed by a careful aging process that balances tradition and modernity: 70% of the wine rests in large Garbellotto Slavonian oak casks, while the remaining 30% ages in concrete for 10 to 12 months. The result is a red of great character, capable of uniting the structural power of the grape variety with an elegant and profound mineral freshness.
