Graves Blanc 2024
The Château de Chantegrive Blanc stands as a shining example of purity and precision within Bordeaux's historic AOC Graves appellation. The estate masterfully shapes this cuvée around three core elements: crisp freshness, sharp minerality, and pristine fresh fruit. The perfectly symmetrical blend brings together 50% Sémillon and 50% Sauvignon Blanc (with a touch of Sauvignon Gris occasionally completing the layout), a classic marriage where the weight, texture, and aging potential of Sémillon are energized by the aromatic drive of Sauvignon.
The cellar management is designed to protect the natural vibrancy of the gravelly terroir. Fully vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, the wine undergoes a 6-month aging process on its fine lees. This choice secures a brilliant, mouthwatering acidity while weaving a delicate, creamy texture into the mid-palate. Château de Chantegrive Blanc emerges as a beautifully balanced, "gourmand" white, driven by a zesty, energetic spine that makes it an ultimate partner for fine dining and seafood pairings.
