Furore Bianco Fiorduva 2024
Fiorduva is a true icon of Italian "heroic viticulture," capturing the vertical and luminous essence of the Amalfi Coast. It is a masterly blend of rare native grapes — Fenile, Ginestra, and Ripoli — grown on steep terraces overlooking the sea at altitudes between 200 and 550 meters. Here, the vines cling to dolomitic limestone cliffs, supported by traditional trellis systems like the "pergola" and "raggiera."
The grapes are hand-harvested in late October at peak over-ripeness to ensure extraordinary concentration. After a soft pressing, the must undergoes a slow fermentation for about three months in oak barriques, a process that grants the wine an imposing structure and an eveloping smoothness. Brilliant golden-yellow in color, Fiorduva enchants the nose with aromas of apricot, broom flowers, and exotic fruits. On the palate, it is dense and savory, boasting an endless persistence of dried apricot and candied citrus that makes it one of the most celebrated white wines in the world.
