Champagne Blanc de Meunier Brut
The "Blanc de Meunier" Brut by Mathilde Savoye is a generous and beautifully tailored Champagne, serving as a perfect statement of the Vallée de la Marne and the undeniable talent of its artisan maker. This Blanc de Noirs is crafted from 100% Meunier, drawing from a thoughtful blend of two distinct plots on the river's Right Bank (Rive Droite) that offer contrasting and complementary profiles: the old 55-year-old vines of “Les Chapelleries” in Cuchery, which deliver structural complexity, paired with the 15-year-old vines of “La Loge des Vignes” in Châtillon, bringing forward-driven energy.
The cellar strategy focuses on protecting the grape's natural fruit clarity: the wine spends 5 months in stainless steel tanks before bottling. Following secondary fermentation, it rests for 18 months on its lees in the domain's cellars prior to disgorgement. Finished as a Brut with a balanced dosage of 6 g/l, this Champagne finds its ultimate harmony. It opens with a succulent and fleshy fruit core where the grape’s signature roundness is seamlessly lifted by a fresh, dynamic, and gracefully textured palate.
