Its story traces back to 2020 when 16-year-old Orlando fell passionately in love with a tiny Nebbiolo plot tucked inside the iconic Bussia MGA in Monforte d'Alba. Tended daily like a pristine garden, this micro-parcel inspired his very first and most ambitious wine project.

The name Sprun translates to "spur"—that which pushes forward and aims high—reflecting Orlando's drive for uncompromising quality. Crafted annually since the 2020 vintage from this exclusive micro-lot, Barolo "Sprun" fuses the muscular structure of Bussia's marl soils with artisanal precision. Traditionally vinified and patiently aged in oak, it delivers a deep, authoritative, and deeply moving Barolo built to stand alongside the finest expressions of the region.
