Barolo Le Vigne 2021

SKU: P3641S

Barolo Le Vigne is a tribute to the most authentic history of the Langhe: the ancient and skillful art of blending grapes from different vineyards. Luciano Sandrone revitalized this meticulous tradition by selecting five plots that trace a "perfect diagonal" across the denomination: Baudana (Serralunga d'Alba), Villero (Castiglione Falletto), Vignane (Barolo), Merli (Novello), and Le Coste (Monforte d'Alba).

Each vineyard contributes a vital element: from the profound structure of Serralunga to the sandy elegance of Barolo. The winemaking process is rigorous, featuring spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open-top tanks and, crucially, the separate handling of each lot. Only after aging in 500-liter French oak casks are the different expressions of Barolo blended to create a wine that is the perfect synthesis of the vintage. The result is a Barolo of extraordinary complexity and harmony, capable of a silent and masterful evolution over time.
