Marcarini

Barolo Brunate 2021

SKU: P3710S

Marcarini's Barolo "Brunate" is a true cornerstone of the region. The Brunate area has been considered one of the greatest and most coveted crus of the Langhe since the 14th century, today officially recognized as a Menzione Geografica Aggiuntiva (MGA). The Marcarini family, who has owned a significant portion of this historic vineyard (4.5 hectares spanning the municipalities of La Morra and Barolo) for generations, was already gracing its labels with this prestigious name back in 1958.

Marcarini proudly claims a strictly traditionalist style. Their cellar philosophy rejects any technological exaggeration: following a maceration of at least four weeks on the skins, the wine undergoes a classic aging process of at least two years in medium-capacity oak barrels (20 to 40 hectoliters). The result is a Barolo of extraordinary nobility, built to defy time and to express the quintessence of its terroir.
