The Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC "La Furiosa" by Orlando Rocca is a fierce, energetic, and uniquely charismatic expression of Piedmont’s beloved Barbera grape, shifting and gleaming with the complex depth of moonlight. As winemaker Orlando Rocca points out, "La Furiosa" is never produced out of routine, but is crafted strictly and exclusively in the most exceptional, highly favored vintages.

The winemaking protocol reflects meticulous artisanal dedication: the hand-harvested grapes are split into two distinct lots, undergoing initial alcoholic fermentation separately—one portion in wood, the other in stainless steel. The wines remain apart for ten months before being harmoniously reunited. The resulting Barbera Superiore boasts formidable structure, profound depth, and an outstanding capacity to age and evolve gracefully over many years.
