The Ovello Riserva is one of the most fascinating and recognizable icons among the nine historic Lieux-Dits crafted by the Produttori del Barbaresco. This vineyard is located on the northernmost hill of the Barbaresco municipality, perched on a high ridge directly overlooking the Tanaro River valley at an altitude between 250 and 320 meters above sea level. The pairing of its South/South-West exposure with the cool breezes rising from the river creates a unique microclimate defined by sharp diurnal temperature shifts.

Produced strictly in outstanding vintages, this Riserva follows the winery's uncompromising classical protocol: fermentation in stainless steel with a 30-day extended skin maceration, followed by 36 months of slow aging in large Slavonian oak casks.
