What began as a friendship in the hallways of the Alba Enological School has evolved into a venture that revitalized Piedmontese sparkling wines made from indigenous grapes. This is the story of Erpacrife—a union of visions, histories, and friends. Erik, Paolo, Cristian, and Federico grew up in their respective family wineries, but in 2000, as soon as they came of age, they decided to stake their own claim. They combined the first syllables of their names and placed a bold bet: sparkling Nebbiolo.

From their school days and a mere 500 bottles of their first label, Erpacrife has grown into a trendsetter and a well-established estate. New ideas have flourished, leading to new labels, and while the "boys" have grown up, their friendship and passion for experimentation remain as vibrant as ever.
