L'Altro Langhe Nebbiolo 2022

"L'altro Nebbiolo" (The Other Nebbiolo) is the story of a land and a grape variety interpreted with patience and profound respect. The grapes are sourced from soils featuring a mosaic of limestone, marl, and sand—a composition that grants the wine a natural balance between structure and aromatic finesse.

The production process follows the rhythms of nature: both alcoholic and malolactic fermentations occur spontaneously, relying on indigenous yeasts. The submerged cap technique, maintained for about 20 days, allows for a gentle yet deep extraction of aromas, color, and tannic structure. After winter rest, the wine ages for 7 to 12 months in 20 Hl Slavonian and French oak casks, where it gains complexity while preserving its varietal identity. The final touch is entrusted to tradition: bottling takes place in late summer, guided by a favorable moon, to seal the perfect harmony of the wine within the bottle.
