Barolo del Comune di Barolo 2020

SKU: P2919S

This Barolo is an oenological symphony, a skillful blend born from historic vineyards (planted between 1970 and 1980) located in the beating heart of the Barolo area. Virna's philosophy is clear: rather than focusing on a single vineyard, they seek the perfect balance between elegance, fruit, power, and structure. By utilizing the prized Nebbiolo sub-varieties Lampia and Michet, this label offers a sensory profile that surprises with its ability to fuse fresh fruit with tertiary notes provided by the oak.

The aging process is meticulously detailed: after maceration with rotating fermenters and delestage to maximize polyphenol extraction, the wine rests for approximately 18 months in 300/500-liter tonneaux. Maturation continues in stainless steel before bottling, followed by further refinement in the bottle, ensuring final harmony before reaching your table.
