Barolo Bricco Boschis 2021
Barolo Bricco Boschis is the flagship wine of the Cavallotto family, a masterpiece of balance originating from the beating heart of Castiglione Falletto. This Barolo is a blend of three historic vineyards within the namesake Cru: Colle Sud Ovest, Punta Marcello, and San Giuseppe. It perfectly embodies the estate’s signature style: powerful and profound, yet always defined by a tannic finesse that makes it approachable even in its youth.
The winemaking adheres to the strictest traditions, utilizing indigenous yeasts and extended submerged-cap macerations (up to 30 days). The wine ages in Slavonian oak casks for 3 to 3.5 years, a crucial period for developing its complex and fragrant aromatic profile. On the nose, it releases intense, open aromas, while the palate reveals masterful structure and incredible aging potential. Truly versatile, it elegantly pairs with red meats, aged cheeses, and even daring combinations with dark chocolate.
