This Barbaresco is sourced from the most prestigious plots within the namesake Rizzi Cru, a historic subzone in Treiso where the complexity of the soil (calcareous marl with sandy veins) and varying altitudes (up to 310 meters) provide the wine with extraordinary natural balance.

The winemaking process is meticulous, featuring macerations of 3–4 weeks, followed by 12 months of aging in large Slavonian oak casks and a further 6–9 months in cement tanks. This traditional approach allows the wine to harmonize, resulting in a glass where fresh fruit and intense notes of forest floor coexist with a structure built to stand the test of time.
