Burzi

Tanavea

SKU: P4002S

The "Tanavèa" by Alberto Burzi is a rare and captivating aromatized wine that honors Piedmont's ancestral digestif tradition—reminiscent of Barolo Chinato—while introducing a unique botanical twist. Crafted from a 100% Nebbiolo (Barolo) base, "Tanavèa" derives its distinctive character from a carefully balanced infusion of tansy flowers and herbs (Tanacetum vulgare), an aromatic medicinal herb deeply rooted in Langhe folklore.

Produced in a micro-edition of just a few hundred bottles (typically in 500ml format), the Nebbiolo base ages in oak casks before undergoing botanical maceration. The resulting elixir strikes a seamless balance between the noble structure of Nebbiolo and the bitter-sweet, herbal, and highly aromatic properties of tansy. Intriging and deeply authentic, it serves as a sophisticated artisanal digestif.
