Saint-Bris is the unusual and original face of Burgundy. In a region dominated by Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this small enclave just a few kilometers from Chablis is the only one authorized to produce wine from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Domaine Verret interprets this uniqueness with mastery, farming 8 hectares of vines (averaging 23 years of age) on Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils—the same noble earth that grants the region's wines their unmistakable mineral fingerprint.

HVE certified (High Environmental Value), the Domaine maintains a respectful approach in both vineyard and cellar. Fermentation occurs exclusively with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, a choice aimed at preserving the variety's aromatic purity and the terroir's tension. The result is a vibrant wine that blends the aromatic exuberance typical of Sauvignon with the mineral and saline austerity of Northern Burgundy.
