Casa Tallone

Roero Bianco 2024

SKU: P3571S

The Roero Bianco by Casa Tallone is more than just an Arneis; it is the story of a home and a family. The estate was originally the summer residence of Cesare Tallone, a renowned late 19th-century Impressionist painter. Since 1934, the Sacchetto family has cared for this land, becoming known locally as the "Talùn." The winery’s logo reflects this heritage: a house with a door left wide open as a sign of hospitality, and green brushstrokes that pay tribute to the original four rows of vines where this journey began in 2013—first as a private passion shared among brothers and friends.

Organically farmed between Vezza d’Alba and Canale, this 100% Arneis combines classic varietal freshness with unexpected depth. The winemaking is artisanal, using a "Pied de cuve" of indigenous yeasts and a portion of skin-contact maceration. Aged for 6-8 months in cement, the wine preserves its crystalline fruit purity. The result is an elegant, vibrant white with notes of fresh fruit and spices, defined by a subtle tannic texture and a lingering finish. A limited production that honors its origins: a wine born to be shared.
