Riesling Herzu 2023

This Riesling Renano originates from 15-year-old vines grown at high altitudes (500–570 meters) on silty, calcareous, and very stony soils. The winemaking process is meticulously designed to showcase varietal purity: fermentation in stainless steel is carried out at low temperatures and halted to retain a delicate residual sugar (5–6 g/l) and prevent malolactic fermentation, thus preserving the grape's signature vibrant acidity.

The wine presents a bright straw-yellow color with greenish highlights. In its youth, the nose is fruity and subtly tropical with herbal hints that, with aging, give way to the profound mineral and hydrocarbon notes typical of the variety. On the palate, it is full and savory, driven by a crisp freshness and a persistent finish that lingers beautifully.
