Langhe Nebbiolo 2024

The Langhe Nebbiolo by Crissante Alessandria is the youngest and most vibrant expression of the noble Piedmontese grape variety. It comes from a vineyard of approximately 0.6 hectares located in La Morra, where the clay-limestone soil with light marl gives the wine a floral freshness and extraordinary drinkability. Planted in 2009, this vineyard captures the morning light thanks to its easterly exposure, ensuring a slow and aromatic ripening of the grapes.

The winemaking process is designed to preserve the fruit's crispness: a fermentation of about 10 days in steel is followed by a short period of 6 months in large oak barrels. This careful aging allows the tannins to soften without masking the typical varietal notes. After a further 6 months of aging in the bottle, the wine is ready to enjoy, while retaining an evolutionary potential that allows it to develop positively for 7–8 years.
