Crissante Alessandria

Barolo del Comune di La Morra 2021

SKU: P3408S

This Barolo is a choral tribute to the prestigious La Morra territory. It is a masterful blend of three distinct vineyards: the power of Roggeri (60%), the luminosity of San Biagio (20%), and the finesse of Bettolotti (20%). The secret to its complexity lies in the vine ages, ranging from 2016 plantings to historic vines from 1957, creating a generational bridge that ensures both freshness and profound depth.

The winemaking reflects the traditional, respectful style of Crissante Alessandria: a long four-week maceration in stainless steel to extract the Nebbiolo’s nobility, followed by 18-24 months of aging in large Slavonian oak casks. After its time in wood, the wine rests for another 9 months in the darkness of the underground cellar. The result is a Barolo brimming with vitality—often called "the wine of sun and passion"—capable of evolving gracefully for over twenty years.
