The Ovello vineyard needs no introduction: it is one of the most famous and celebrated sites in the entire Barbaresco wine-growing region. The location is privileged, situated on the hills overlooking the Tanaro River; here, the south-southwest exposure, combined with a soil characterized by a peculiar blend of limestone and sand, gives the grapes an intensity and elegance that is hard to find elsewhere.

The Barbaresco Ovello by Cantina del Pino is the liquid translation of this unique terroir. It succeeds in a rare feat: being delicious and accessible even in its youth, thanks to its silky and soft tannic structure, while maintaining a depth and complexity that allow it to evolve gracefully for many years in the cellar.
