The Nebbiolo d’Alba by Cascina Penna Currado is an ode to patience and the nobility of old vines. Sourced from 65-year-old vineyards surrounding the San Sebastiano Chapel in Monforte d’Alba, this wine benefits from a unique microclimate: high altitudes and cool breezes foster a slow, late ripening, essential for shaping tannins of extreme finesse.

The winemaking follows an ancestral rhythm: fermentation with indigenous yeasts begins after a natural 8-day wait, followed by a long two-week post-fermentation maceration to extract the true soul of the terroir. The 12-month aging process, which begins in 10hl Garbellotto casks and continues in traditional large oak barrels, results in a wine of intense garnet color with ethereal aromas of rose, violet, and wild berries. On the palate, it is the epitome of elegance: slender, with silky tannins and a vibrant acidity that leads into a long, citrus-inflected finish.
