Cascina Castella

Langhe Rossese Bianco 2025

SKU: P3802S

Rossese Bianco is a true archaeological gem of Langa viticulture. Produced by La Castella, this wine is made from an ancient indigenous grape variety that was once on the brink of extinction. Today, it is dedicatedly cultivated in the municipalities of Roddino and Sinio. At significant altitudes (ranging from 400 to 550 meters above sea level) and rooted in unique soils of calcareous marl and tuff, this white wine develops extraordinary vigor and freshness.

The production philosophy focuses on preserving varietal purity: vinification takes place entirely in stainless steel to keep the crispness of the fruit intact. Subsequent aging using the bâttonage technique adds body and complexity without compromising the wine's natural acidic tension. The result is a glass that surprises with its finesse and character, perfect for those seeking historical grape varieties and authentic territorial interpretations.
