The Langhe Nebbiolo by Cascina Penna Currado originates from a privileged location in Monforte d’Alba, specifically the San Sebastiano district. Here, the vineyards—ranging from 15 to 65 years in age—surround the historic chapel, benefiting from high altitudes and cool breezes that allow for a slow and perfect phenolic ripeness. This Nebbiolo is a study in purity, the result of a naturally late harvest that enhances the fruit's crunchiness and aromatic elegance.

The winemaking process is a tribute to the raw material: fermentation with indigenous yeasts and the use of 100% whole berries (destemmed), followed by an 8-day post-fermentation maceration to stabilize color and structure. After aging in oak barrels, the wine reveals a deep garnet hue and a noble bouquet of raspberry, cherry, and wild strawberry, enriched by hints of rose and violet. On the palate, it is enveloping, featuring supple tannins and a citrusy finish that makes it both vibrant and aristocratic.
