Langhe Favorita 2024

The Langhe Favorita by Fratelli Alessandria is a rare and historic gem of Piedmontese winemaking, proudly produced since 1986. This variety, deeply rooted in local tradition, finds its ideal habitat in the Boscatto and Sotto Orti vineyards of Verduno. The vines, averaging about 35 years of age, are planted in limestone and silty soils, yielding a wine that shines with savoriness and fragrance.

The winemaking process focuses on maximizing aromatic freshness: fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures in stainless steel, followed by a brief aging period of a few months to preserve the grape's fruity and floral character. It is a wine meant to be enjoyed young, surprising for its immediacy and the delightful citrus notes that invite another sip.
