Bacicolo 2022

Bacicolo represents a successful challenge for the Logi family: elevating Cabernet Franc, an international variety, within a terroir historically dedicated to Vernaccia. Produced in a very limited release (only 2,000 bottles), this wine comes from a vineyard at 360 meters above sea level, rooted in sandy and deeply limestone soils rich in marine fossils. This unique soil composition, combined with certified organic farming, grants the variety an extraordinary verticality and finesse.

In the cellar, vinification in concrete tanks aims to preserve fruit purity, while the subsequent 12-month aging in barriques (50% new, 50% second-fill) tames the Cabernet Franc's energy, providing a silky structure and spicy complexity. Bacicolo is not merely a powerful wine but a dynamic red that chooses elegance and balance as its stylistic signature, completing its journey with an additional year of bottle aging.
