Barolo del Comune di Serralunga 2021

The Barolo del Comune di Monforte d'Alba is a faithful synthesis of the power and elegance that characterize this renowned terroir. Sourced from 15-year-old vines planted between 330 and 400 meters above sea level, it thrives on clay-limestone soils enriched with sandy sedimentations. A long maceration on the skins and 18 to 24 months of aging in oak casks of various sizes provide the wine with significant structure, while maintaining the expressive finesse unique to Nebbiolo.

In the glass, it shows an intense and brilliant garnet red. The bouquet is complex, opening with aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and forest floor, enriched by elegant balsamic hints. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured; firm yet elegant tannins coat the palate, while a balanced acidity provides freshness, leading to a long, persistent finish with echoing notes of fruit and spice.
