Giacomo Fenocchio

Barolo DOCG 2022

SKU: P3820S

The Barolo by Giacomo Fenocchio is a true monument to Piedmontese tradition. Produced from a single one-hectare vineyard with an average age of 20 years, located at 350 meters above sea level with an eastern exposure, this wine is born on Helvetian soils composed of clay, sand, and limestone marls. It is a pure, uncompromising interpretation of the Michet and Lampia sub-varieties of the Nebbiolo grape.

Fenocchio's philosophy is rooted in an ancestral approach: the winemaking process features a very long, natural 40-day maceration in stainless steel tanks, without any added yeasts. The aging follows the strictest classical rules, banning barriques in favor of 30 months in large Slavonian oak casks (25-35 hl). The result is a highly limited production of just 7,000 bottles per year, crafted for those seeking the true, proud, and timeless face of Barolo.
