This "Classic" Barolo is a masterful blend of three different vineyards located in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, with vines ranging from the historic 1959 plantings to those of 1995. Here, the Luigi Pira estate achieves a perfect synthesis: the power, structure, and bold tannins typical of Serralunga are harmonized by the finesse and accessibility gained through aging in large casks.

In the cellar, the philosophy remains true to local tradition. Following a 18–20 day fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures for 24 months in 25–30 hl Slavonian oak casks. This classic aging process imparts a softness that tames the vigor of Serralunga Nebbiolo, resulting in a wine of great balance, where earthy depth perfectly marries an unforgettable aromatic persistence.
