Barolo del Comune di La Morra 2022

SKU: P3745S

This Barolo is a profound and characterful expression of the La Morra terroir, originating from a 2.3-hectare vineyard situated at an altitude of 350 meters. With optimal southwestern exposure and roots digging deep into calcareous-clay soils, the 35-year-old vines yield extraordinary quality grapes, harvested with low yields to preserve their intensity.

The winemaking process follows traditional rhythms: after fermentation in stainless steel, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in oak and ages for 24 months in casks of various ages. The absence of filtration preserves the fruit's integrity and the structural complexity of the Nebbiolo grape, resulting in a beautifully balanced Barolo that blends power with finesse. A limited production of approximately 12,000 bottles per year, crafted for those seeking the authentic elegance of the Langhe.
