Sourced from a 4.5-hectare vineyard in Acqui Terme (at an altitude of 400 m), this wine is born from a philosophy that rejects haste. The vines, planted in 2005, enjoy an eastern exposure and rigorous artisanal care: 15 days of maceration with manual pump-overs, followed by aging for 22 months in 50 hl French Allier oak barrels.

The result is a wine that defies the ordinary. With a stated longevity of over 20 years, "I Bricchi" is intended for those seeking a Barbera of character, capable of evolving and delivering emotions well beyond its vintage. It is presented in an iconic bottle: a Burgundy-style bottle with an elongated neck and amber-colored glass, created exclusively for Scarpa, honoring the winery's historic tradition.
